By creating an account or using pdfonweb.com ("pdfonweb", "the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you ("User", "you") and pdfonweb. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you use pdfonweb on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

We reserve the right to modify, add, or discontinue features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes that affect paid plans.
You must provide a valid email address and choose a unique username. Your username becomes your permanent subdomain (e.g., username.pdfonweb.com). Usernames may not impersonate real persons or brands, contain offensive language, or violate any trademark.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
Each person or organisation may maintain one free account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or receive multiple free BU coin bonuses is prohibited and will result in account termination.
BU coins are the in-platform currency used to pay for AI redesign jobs. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts or redeemed for money. New accounts receive 15 BU coins as a welcome gift.
Coins are deducted when a job is queued. If a job fails due to a platform error, coins are automatically refunded. No refund is issued if the job fails because your PDF contains no readable text or violates content policies.
Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Agency) are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle. Prices are displayed on the pricing page and in your account settings. All prices exclude applicable taxes.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on first-time subscriptions. To request a refund, email [email protected] within 7 days of your first charge. After 7 days, subscription fees are non-refundable.
You retain all intellectual property rights in the PDF files and documents you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading, you grant pdfonweb a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.

When you use AI redesign, the text content of your PDF is sent to Anthropic's API. You must not use AI redesign on PDFs containing:
By triggering an AI redesign job, you confirm that you have the right to submit the PDF's text content to Anthropic's API under their terms.
Your flipbooks are accessible to anyone with the link by default. You are solely responsible for deciding who you share your flipbook URLs with. pdfonweb does not actively moderate uploaded content but will act on valid complaints and abuse reports.
The pdfonweb platform, brand, design, code, and all non-user content are owned by or licensed to pdfonweb. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, scrape, or create derivative works from the platform.
AI-redesigned PDFs generated by the Service are derived from Your Content using Anthropic's models. We make no warranty that AI output is original or free from third-party claims. You accept AI output as-is and are responsible for reviewing it before distributing it.
If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that feedback without any obligation to you.
You may not:
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime SLA on free or Starter plans. Pro and Agency plan SLAs (if applicable) are documented separately. We may take the Service offline for maintenance with reasonable notice where possible. Emergency maintenance may occur without notice.
We are not liable for data loss due to technical failures. You should maintain your own copies of important PDF files.
You may close your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. Account closure triggers data deletion as described in our Privacy Policy, Section 8.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:
Where reasonable, we will warn you before suspension. For serious violations (CSAM, malware distribution), suspension is immediate and permanent.
On termination, your access to the Service ends immediately. Your uploaded files and account data are deleted according to the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy. Any unused BU coins are forfeited.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that: (a) the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free; (b) AI-generated redesigns will meet your quality expectations or be free from errors; (c) your uploaded PDFs will be rendered identically across all devices and browsers.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PDFONWEB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $10.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless pdfonweb and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third party's rights.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. We will attempt to resolve disputes informally first — please contact [email protected] before pursuing formal action. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or small claims court at our election.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes (pricing, liability, data rights) will be communicated by email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated Terms, your remedy is to stop using the Service and request account deletion.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and pdfonweb regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
